    The first French Cup of Dragon Ball FighterZ will take place at PLAY Paris Powered by PAX ! 64 teams of 3 players will face-off to gain the title of “Champion de France par équipe” (“French Team Champions)”. This official French Team will gain the opportunity to represent France at the World Finals that will take place at Japan Expo, on July 5 to 8, 2018!


    THE TEAM MATCH CONCEPTS


    The teams of 3 players face each-other as relay-formations, with a one-leg match between each successive player. The winner stays-on, the loser gives the relay to the next fighter in his/her team. The winning team is the one standing after having beaten every other player of the opposing team.


    COMPETITION FORMAT


    − Competition open to 64 teams of 3 players.

    − Team-naming is free. However, the team that will win the tournament must be called Équipe de France/French Team for the World Finals.

    − Tournament reserved to players with a French citizenship or a dual-citizenship.

    − No copies of the same character allowed in a single team.


    COMPETITION SCHEDULE | SATURDAY APRIL 21



    − Pools phase in round-robin format from 12AM to 4PM (16 pools of 4 teams, only 1 team qualified per pool).

    − TOP 16 to TOP 4 from 4PM to 7PM.

    − TOP 4 at the Charlie Parker Main Stage from 8.30PM to 10PM


    Method A: Pre-registration (48 slots)


    − Pre-register your team at (link to come)

    − Show-up on Saturday April 21, with your complete team, at the [Versus Fighting Area] (“Fighting Games Area”) information booth before 11.30AM to confirm your registration. Attention: If you don’t get there on time with all your players, your participation will be canceled.


    Method B: Registration at the venue (16 slots)


    − You can submit your team of 3 players at the venue on the same day from 10AM to 11.30AM.

    − If all the slots are already filled when you arrive, you will have the opportunity to be put on a waiting-list.

    − This waiting-list will be used in order from 11.30AM to 12PM if some teams can’t confirm their pre-registration.
